Robert Panariello, MS, PT, ATC, CSCS
Rob
is a graduate of Ithaca College with a B.S. in
both Physical Therapy and Physical
Education/Athletic Training. He also holds a
Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from
Queens College. He is a licensed Physical
Therapist, NATA Certified Athletic Trainer and
NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. Rob has more than 25 years in the
field of Athletic Training Sports Rehabilitation
and Athletic Performance.
Rob has studied the science of strength and
conditioning in the former East Germany, Soviet
Union and Bulgaria. His experience includes 10
years (1986 – 1995) as the Head Strength and
Conditioning Coach at St. John’s University, the
World League of American Football’s NY/NJ
Knights (1991) and the WUSA NY POWER Women’s
Professional Soccer League, 2001, 2002. He
serves as a consultant to many NFL, NBA and
University teams and strength coaches.
He is nationally renowned in the field of Sports
Medicine Rehabilitation and Strength and
Conditioning. Rob lectures nationally on these
topics and has over 60 peer reviewed
publications.
Rob received the prestigious National Strength and
Conditioning Association President’s Award in
1998 and was elected to the USA Strength and
Conditioning Hall of Fame in 2003.
Timothy J. Stump, MS, PT, CSCS
Tim
has been a NSCA Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist since 1993. He has been
a nationally ranked competitive athlete in the
sports of Powerlifting and Weightlifting. He
received a degree in Physical Therapy in 1992
and obtained a Masters of Science Degree in
Exercise in orthopedic and sports medicine. His
experience includes working with high-level
athletes ranging from the College, Professional
and Olympic caliber. Tim has a special interest
in training and rehabilitating competitive
Strength and Power athletes as well as Martial
Artists.
He is a Certified USA Weightlifting Club and
Sports Performance Coach. Tim has also conducted
and published numerous clinical research studies
in the field of Sports Medicine. He continues to
lecture at the local and national level on
shoulder, knee and ankle disorders as well as
current concepts in strength training and
plyometrics.
Dean Maddalone, PTA, CSCS, USAW
Dean is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. He graduated from Nassau Community
College in 1993 and received his BA in
psychology and physical education at Queens
College in 2000. Dean has worked in outpatient
sports medicine clinics for over 12 years and
has coached many high school, college and
professional athletes.
Dean joined Professional Athletic Performance
Center in September of 2003. During this time he
has been involved with many community outreach
programs promoting and educating athletes and
parents on the benefits of proper strength and
conditioning to prevent injury and improve
performance. In conjunction with the coaches at
the Professional Athletic Performance Center,
Dean has assisted in developing the Youth
Development Program (ages 7-10).
As a main Sports Performance Coach, Dean has
worked with many of our professional athletes on
a one-to-one basis along with teaching high
school and youth classes. Dean is also a
competitive Olympic Weightlifter in the Masters
Division.
